The famous Naxian Kitron

In Halki Village, you can visit the Vallindras distillery which has been established since 1895 in order to initiate into the hidden secrets of producing the famous Naxian kitron liqueur. It is a liqueur in three colours yellow, white and green. Naxos citron is produced from the leaves of the tree which are used as a raw material and contain strong aromatric essential oils making it unique in taste.
